'Rocky' was our first winner since we have been training at Hogs Green when he won his maiden by 10 lengths at Parham. He then followed up in his Restricted and we hope he can keep progressing through the ranks in 2019. He is a very gentle and likeable young horse with a long stride and he thrives on soft ground. We are aiming to qualify him for the Cheltenham Intermediate Final in May.

'Copper' is one of the newest additions to the Club having been purchased in March at Ascot Sales. He had won his maiden in Ireland as a six-year-old but then appeared to lose his way. We put plenty of work into him for five weeks before running him at our local course, Aldington. We were delighted when he won comfortably by seven lengths. We hope that he can continue to progress and will be competitive in Intermediate and Novice Rider races in 2019.

'Sting' is another new addition to the Club having been purchased at the same time as Copper. He also won his Maiden in Ireland before his form tailed off. He had issues with imbalanced feet, shoulders and hindquarters when we got him, which have all been rectified. Sting is a big, strong horse and we are excited about running him this season.
